We recommend booking 3-6 months in advance, especially if you're planning to visit during peak season (June-October) or want to witness the Great Migration. For luxury accommodations and popular lodges, 6-12 months is ideal. However, we can often accommodate shorter notice trips — just reach out and we'll do our best!

We require a 30% deposit to confirm your booking, with the balance due 30 days before your safari departure. We offer free cancellation up to 30 days before departure for a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days are subject to our cancellation fee schedule. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Absolutely! Many families enjoy safaris together. We recommend children be at least 5-6 years old for game drives. For younger children, South Africa's malaria-free areas like the Eastern Cape are excellent options. We can arrange family-friendly accommodations and adjust game drive schedules to fit naptimes.

We recommend consulting your travel clinic 4-6 weeks before departure. Yellow fever vaccination is required if arriving from endemic areas. Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for most safari destinations — discuss options with your doctor. We can also arrange malaria-free safari options in South Africa's Eastern Cape.

While wildlife viewing is never guaranteed in nature, our expert guides maximize your chances with their knowledge of animal behavior, migration patterns, and local ecosystems.
